Dr. Hutson has been practicing as a Board Certified Allergist for over 25 years and has a background in Internal Medicine. She graduated with honors from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 and earned her Medical Degree in 1986. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency in 1990 and went on for a fourth year as Chief Medical Resident. She received her specialty training in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology through her fellowship at the University of Iowa.
Dr. Hutson initially practiced at a large specialty group in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL for 8 years. Being a native of Michigan, she moved back from Chicago to set up her own practice in Holland in 2000.
Dr. Hutson is very passionate about her specialty. She enjoys practicing in a field where she can use her skills to improve people's quality of life. She loves living in Holland and spending time along the lakeshore with her family and friends. During her free time she enjoys gardening, playing pickleball, and doing crafts. She is also an active supporter of the arts and the Holland Rescue Mission.

Dr. Sarah Leo is thrilled to join our practice, bringing her expertise and passion for patient care to our team.
Dr. Leo earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in holistic and patient-centered care. She also holds a Master of Public Health from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine where she concentrated in Health Education & Communication, and Maternal & Child Health.
Dr. Leo completed her pediatric internship and residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, where she led various pediatric outreach endeavors. During her time at LSU, she earned the honor of serving as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. Following her residency, Dr. Leo pursued a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology also at Louisiana State University, solidifying her specialization in diagnosing and treating a wide range of allergic and immunologic conditions.
Her practice interests include food allergy, asthma, environmental allergies, eczema, contact dermatitis, eosinophil disorders, frequent illnesses, and primary immunodeficiencies. She is interested in using biologics to help improve her patients' quality of life.
Dr. Leo now resides in Holland, MI, with her husband Johnny, their baby Felix, and their two cats. She enjoys making costumes, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Chamness is a Board Certified Pediatrician who has cared for children and adolescents with allergies and asthma for 27 years. He was born in Shreveport, LA and moved to Holland, MI when he was 2 years old.
Dr. Chamness received his Bachelor of Arts from Luther College in Decorah,IA, his Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, and completed his Pediatric Residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI.
In 1997, he helped found Northshore Pediatrics, which is now Lakeshore Health Partners Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. He is also Board Certified in Sleep Medicine. He practiced Pediatric Sleep Medicine at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.
Retired from practicing medicine full-time, Dr. Chamness is honored to be covering for Dr. Hutson. He resides in Holland, MI with his wife and has three children.
