Premedications include:
Prednisone 40mg (take two 20mg tablets) 12-24 hours prior to each cluster visit
Your non-drowsy antihistamine (such as cetirizine) 1-2 hours prior to each cluster visit
Montelukast 1-2 hours prior to each cluster visit
An EpiPen must be filled to start cluster immunotherapy; please bring it to your visits
These prescriptions will be sent to your pharmacy prior to your first visit.
Cluster Immunotherapy
Your cluster immunotherapy program will typically run over 8 consecutive weeks. You will be in the office for 1-2 hours for each session. If you are not feeling well, please call to reschedule.
